Visit the premier beaches in the Palanga resort, all at budget prices to travellers.  For final proof of the intense Lithuanian pride, visit the eerie, almost mythical, Hill of Crosses.  With crosses dotting the hillside as far as the eye can see, it’s amazing to think that each time they were destroyed by the Soviets, they would reappear again without fail.
